There are many reasons that make hair thin and weak. This may depend on genes or age, but often it is also due to poor nutrition or excess or low-quality hair cosmetics. To have healthy, shiny and strong hair, you need to properly care for it.
What affects the condition of the hair?
Volume disappears, hair becomes dry and unpleasant to the touch, and constantly splitting and breaking ends lead to tangled hair. This is caused by internal factors, that is, diet, and external factors, such as cosmetics and care methods.

When the hair is treated with warm air, combed with a brush that breaks or pulls out the hair from the roots, cosmetics are chosen incorrectly, there are few minerals in the diet, stress is an everyday occurrence, this quickly affects the appearance of the hairstyle.
How to properly care for your hair?
Daily hair care is more than just shampoo and conditioner. Care must be comprehensive. To have healthy hair, you first need to eliminate harmful factors and introduce appropriate cosmetics and care methods.
Appropriate cosmetics and care in combination with each other, carried out systematically and tailored to the hair type, will improve its condition and appearance. Therefore, it is necessary to provide your hair with nutrition and moisture.
Pay attention ! It is necessary to properly cleanse the scalp with appropriate preparations. Special peeling cleanses, improves microcirculation and blood supply to hair follicles. Thanks to this, the hair is more saturated with oxygen and nourished, which means it is strengthened and stimulated to grow.
How to wash your hair correctly?
The condition of your hair is also affected by how you wash it. There are many mistakes you can make while washing that can negatively affect the appearance of your hair. Although washing your hair is a simple procedure, it is worth remembering the rules that support proper hair care:
- frequent washing is harmful for dry and damaged hair, wash it once every 3 days, and wash normal and oily hair as often as necessary;
- wash them with cool water – too warm water causes the hair cuticle to open, causing it to become rough;
- a small amount of moisturizing shampoo is applied and gently massaged;
- after rinsing, lightly press the hair with a towel, and only then apply conditioner;
- Rinse hair with a weak stream of cool water for no longer than 30 seconds.
Before use, dilute the shampoo with water; undiluted shampoo tangles the hair and makes it difficult to comb. Also wash your hair with warm water. Hot water expands the hair cuticles, which then become harder to close, making hair rough and lacking in shine.
Drying and combing hair: what should you pay attention to?
After rinsing off the shampoo, apply conditioner and comb it through the hair, the ingredients of the conditioner penetrate into the hair. Never comb wet hair unless you first protect it with an appropriate conditioner.

Combing wet hair after washing without conditioner exposes it to even more damage. Don’t rub your hair with a towel, so it becomes frayed.
Additional Information! Hot air from a hairdryer dries and irritates the scalp – it secretes more sebum, which accelerates hair greasy. Therefore, natural drying is the best solution. However, if you need a dryer, make sure it has a cool air function.
It is better to wait until they dry on their own, or blow dry them at a cold temperature. Only then comb your hair, but be sure to use a brush that does not tug, tangle or pull out hair. Only then will they be shiny and strong.
What hair cosmetics should you use and how often?
In everyday hair care, the correct selection of cosmetics is very important. Products containing natural and active ingredients improve the condition of hair follicles and scalp.

It is safer to invest in shampoos and conditioners based on natural ingredients. The more oils and plant extracts, the safer they are for the skin.
- Peels remove dead skin, makeup residues and impurities.
- Conditioners are lighter, designed for dry and oily hair, and strengthening ones are designed against hair loss. They nourish, moisturize and make them soft and shiny.
- Masks nourish, restore and regenerate dry, brittle, damaged and excessively oily hair.
- Lotions contain ingredients that stimulate hair follicles.
- Rinses revitalize color without penetrating the hair; they have nourishing properties.
Applying oil to hair has a beneficial effect on it. It is important to choose them correctly so that they match your hair type and needs. The most versatile, proven oils are, of course, argan, black cumin, cottonseed and sweet almond oil. Be careful with coconut oil as it tends to tangle your hair.

The recommended way to strengthen your hair is to use hair lotions. They should be applied directly to the scalp and massaged. Scalp exfoliation also has a positive effect on hair growth, as it stimulates and nourishes the hair follicles, removes dead skin and residues of other cosmetics.
What ingredients should you include in your diet and how does your diet affect your hair?
Improperly nourished hair becomes dull, thin and brittle. They fall out faster, so they need to be nourished not only from the outside, but also from the inside. A menu with valuable ingredients, vitamins and healthy fats will make your hair beautiful, healthy and shiny. No matter what type of hair, the diet should be rich in herbs and green vegetables, fruits, protein and fish. It should also include cereals, nuts and seeds.

Excessive oiliness, brittleness or hair loss may be associated with a deficiency of microelements and vitamins. The most important ingredients are: vitamins A, C and E, amino acids, omega-2 fatty acids, zinc, iron and copper. Vitamins A, C and E are found in vegetables and fruits, especially broccoli, cabbage, parsley, carrots, pumpkin, cabbage, spinach, tomatoes, celery, soybeans, peppers, beans, cauliflower, apricots and peppers.
Citrus fruits are extremely important, rich in vitamin C and B vitamins. They are also found in fish, seafood, poultry and dairy products: butter, eggs. It is recommended to eat meat, mainly beef and poultry. Vegetarian alternatives containing iron are beans and flaxseeds. You should also eat nuts, grains, brown rice and supplement your food with oils such as canola, peanut or flaxseed. To enhance and accelerate the effect, it is advisable to limit the consumption of coffee and alcohol, eliminate white sugar and products made from white flour.
